This board is meant to complement not replace your character sheet. While your character sheet contains elements that remain consistent throughout a session like saving throws skill checks attacks and spell DCs you use this Battle Board to:

• Keep track of your HIT POINTS Hit Dice spent and Death Saves.
• Circle any TEMPORARY MODIFIERS in the Magic Buff area and write in the ability being modified.
• Mark the indicator when you have HEROIC INSPIRATION or when you’ve used your REACTION for the round.
• Write in your INITIATIVE ROLL result for the encounter.
• Fill in class-specific details like SPELL SLOTS and CHANNEL DIVINITY then erase them as they’re used up.
• Write in CLASS ABILITIES that change often like which spell you’re concentrating on.
• Mark off ITEM CHARGES as you use them then replenish them as they recharge.
• Check a CONDITION and its effect then erase it once the condition ends.
