The heroes defeated the Rat King and his minions and moved on—but now the Rat King has returned hungry for revenge. While investigating a ring of slavers clues lead into the cityâs slums and sewers. Unbeknownst to them the “dungeon” is a ruse meant to deliver them into the Rat Kingâs clutches. Overwhelmed by sheer numbers the adventurers are captured and thrown into a cell without armor weapons or gear. Can they escape fight through hordes of minions and confront the Rat King once more?

Revenge of the Rat King is a 5E adventure for four to six 5th-level characters. It serves as a sequel to Fifth Edition Fantasy #31: Idylls of the Rat King but can also be played on its own.
