No file grain on the arch part prevents scratching the inverted edge side!

Since there are no file grain on the arch part and the arch surface is narrower than the filing surface filing up to the very last edge is possible without scratching the inverted edge side.
Please note however that the inverted edge angle that files without scratching the side ranges from 180° to 90°.

Thanks to its resistance to warping the force of the hand firmly transmits to the ‘surface’ of the file.
You can concentrate only on the angle at which the file meets the cutting surface without excessive force which allows for more accurate surface grinding.
