The Ionic Waffen SS Uniforms & Eichenlaubmuster (Oak Leaf) Camouflage Set includes 12 acrylic paints specially chosen to provide the essential tones for painting WWII German miniatures.

This set contains all the colors needed to paint German SS soldiers from World War II wearing smocks and helmet covers in the Eichenlaubmuster (Oak Leaf) camouflage as well as their feldgrau uniforms beneath. It includes two shades of feldgrau: a dark one ideal for helmets and adding shading to the uniform and a lighter one that represents the iconic greenish-grey color of the German uniform.

For the Eichenlaubmuster camouflage the set provides all the necessary colors to paint both autumn and spring variants. The camouflage base (light brown) is complemented by a darker color for shadows and a lighter one for highlights. Each version also includes three paints to represent the characteristic spots and dots of this pattern.

 The set is completed with several browns and black for painting the German soldier’s equipment including straps bread bag canteen and ammunition pouches as well as a skin tone. Finally the set includes a light color Vanilla for mixing with other paints to create highlights.

 Although each color can be used as-is to paint individual elements they can also be combined to create new shades or tones allowing you to add depth through highlights and shadows.
