In cooperation with the French paper manufacturer Clairefontaine this Sketchpad was created especially for the use with water-based markers ? a strong difference to the conventional watercolor papers which are made for brushes. The watercolor paper which consists of 100% cellulose inhibits a strong bleeding through of the ink and has a different haptic on both sides of the sheet. Since we also care about our environment the paper is absolutely acid-free and vegan!?

This new generation of watercolor paper is dimensionally stable even after a large area is covered with the wet inks. Contrary to classical watercolor papers this paper does not need to be soaked in water before applying ? you get a great watercolor effect even on the dry surface! The colors are applied absolutely true to their nature since the clear white paper does not lead to any color distortion.?
