6th June 2024 marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day the largest naval air and land operation in history which departed from Portsmouth in 1944.

This painting by internationally renowned aviation artist Matthew Emeny features two iconic Spitfire aircraft flying over Portsmouth and the HMS Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier being towed out of port.
