Eons ago the evil half-man half-fish humanoids known as Deep Ones ruled over the islands and coastlines of the Dragon Spine Sea. In their dark seaside caves and grottos these cruel beings built fortresses of coral and stone.

They subjugated all other races sacrificing them on altars dedicated to their dark goddess Glugbillolup. Ultimately the humans of Adon waged a great war against the Deep Ones where they defeated them and drove them from the seas into the lightless realm of the Darkreaches. Lurking in the inky shadows beneath the earth these fish-men hunt other sentient beings for food breeding and sacrifices within their lost temple.
