WETA - The Lord of the Rings Trilogy - Skull of a Mumak

Creatures of colossal scale and ancient lineage this mûmak skull specimen though reduced in size through arcane means retains the historic and anatomical grandeur of its source.

Immense curved tusks erupt from a broad forward-jutting maxilla while the domed cranial cavity suggests the mass and muscle required to support such weight and fury.

Evidence of dense reinforced bones along the frontal and nasal regions implies evolutionary reinforcement well-suited for carving through terrain and enemy alike.

This piece offers a rare link to the last living echoes of a darker age where even the wilds of Middle-earth marched to war.
