WETA - The Lord of the Rings Trilogy - The Key to Bag End 1:1 Prop Replica

Bag End is a home of comfort. It is a place to begin a story and a place to return to once the journey has ended. It is warm safe and full of surprises. Now the key to all of that is yours.

During the production of The Lord of the Rings Weta Workshop was tasked with helping to build up the very foundations of how Middle-earth was to appear on screen.

From the largest of towers to the smallest of Hobbit holes countless sketches were made detailing every aspect and although not every concept saw its way onto the big screen each piece played an important role in exploring the world it belonged to.
